Mini Roasted Portobello Sandwiches

Ingredients

Long Ciabatta Cristal Bread (Ref. 82251)

Portobello Mushroom

Sliced Tomatoes

Sliced White Onion

Salt

Black Pepper

Arugula

Soy Sauce

Balsamic Vinegar

Liquid Smoke

Olive Oil

Horseradish Sauce

Elaboration

These mini sandwiches will make for the perfect party starters and have a meaty taste that they won’t be able to resist.

Combine the soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, liquid smoke, and pepper to make a small amount of marinade for your mushrooms.  Be sure to marinate it for no longer than 30 minutes.  When you’re ready to cook, grill the mushrooms to the desired doneness.

Grill your sliced tomatoes and onions in a pan with salt and balsamic vinegar until they’re nice and caramelized.  Separately, cook down your arugula.  Slice your Cristal Bread and give them an optional toasting for 1-2 minutes.  When you’re ready, assemble your sandwich as pictured and serve!
