It’s the classic flavors of a margherita pizza and the simplicity of a pizza bagel mixed into one.

Toast these Rustica buns for 1-2 minutes, and spoon the sauce over the top. Cover it with pieces of mozzarella and tomato.

Bake it until the cheese is melted. As soon as it’s out of the oven, sprinkle it with salt & pepper.

Once you’re ready to serve, top it with basil, drizzle some olive oil, and buon appetito!

If you want to get that beautiful golden brown on your cheese, put it under the broiler until it’s just right. Be sure to keep an eye on it so nothing burns!
