Elaboration

  • Add eggs, milk, sugar, salt, vanilla, and cinnamon to a bowl and whisk to combine
  • Coat the sliced bread in the egg mixture
  • Add to a hot skillet and brown on both sides
  • Once browned, plate the French toast
  • Top with maple syrup, whipped cream, and shaved almonds
