A Sweet Start to the School Year 🎒😋

Back to school is right around the corner, so whether it’s someone’s first day of kindergarten or the first day of college, they deserve to start the school year right.

For all the parents, teachers, and maybe even students reading this, we’ve got plenty of tips to help you take on the first few days of class, one bite at a time. Get ready for some good eats, and get ready to earn some good grades!

Breakfast: The most important meal of the day 🧇

It may be a cliche, but the saying wouldn’t have lasted if it wasn’t true. Not only is breakfast a way to sit down and have a moment of peace during the first-day jitters but it’s proven to enhance school performance. Enjoying one of our Belgian Waffles as part of a balanced breakfast can contribute energy for the day. Brioche Croissant Rolls can do the same when used to make a sandwich like this. Pair either of those with some proteins and fruits for a meal that will keep you full and focused until lunchtime. And if you’re in a rush, our waffles come in individual packages to take on the go!

Lunch: A well-deserved break 🥪

You’ve made it through the morning, and you’re doing great so far. And a good lunch is just what you need to get through the rest of the day. We offer a wide assortment of white whole wheat rolls, breadsticks, and even knots that taste great and meet the USDA guidelines for whole-grain servings in school lunches. For more of an occasional treat, our standard garlic knots make a great side dish too.

But if you’re looking for something to be the star of your lunch, our sliced French brioche bread is just what you need. Pre-sliced bread means making a sandwich is quick and easy- and there’s nothing better than having something special to look forward to especially authentic French brioche.

Destressing: Rule the school, don’t let school rule you! 📓

Enjoying a delicious meal is great, but we know it won’t magically give good grades, grade those papers. If everything feels like too much to handle at once, remember our advice from the beginning- ‘take it one bite at a time’. Breaking down your work makes it easier to focus on each step, lets you rest your mind between tasks, and creates a greater sense of accomplishment each time you complete a goal! You can even set up with a little reward, like a PopDots Original to congratulate yourself on a job well done.
